Neighborhood Disaster Response Drill
Radford Studios, 4024 Radford Ave, 91604
Saturday, Feb 24, 9:30am-12:30pm
IN-PERSON DRILL – hosted outdoors on Studio lot
Statistically, 70% of all survivors of a disaster are rescued by other survivors.
Immediately after a disaster, you and your neighbors will become the first responders in your community.
What you do in the first hour after an earthquake will save lives.
These monthly Neighborhood Disaster Response Drills are held in-person across Los Angeles.
We set up a Staging Area and deploy out Damage Assessment or Incident Response Teams. Based on your experience and physical ability, you can support the Staging Area or walk the neighborhood on a Team as a Team Leader, Radio Operator, Scribe, or Responder Pair.
You must sign up on Eventbrite to get the address and waiver. Register and download waiver at: https://lafdcert-drill-february2024.eventbrite.com
This training is open to everyone regardless of if you are CERT trained or not and regardless of if you live in the area or not and regardless of your physical ability or limitations.
