Beeman Park Playground & Construction Update

Here is the latest update on its temporary closure and the overall project progress:

Playground Status: The playground is currently closed so the Bureau of Engineering (BOE) can safely perform work near the access ramp by the Studio City Recreation Center building.

What’s Next for Reopening: The BOE is actively working with a vendor to install a new, temporary ramp at a secondary location. Once installed, the playground will reopen during normal park hours and remain open for the duration of construction.

Overall Project Timeline: The broader construction project remains on track, with an anticipated completion and grand opening date in early 2027.
